Unable to launch InDesign

Hi, I am a student who is a subscriber to Adobe. But I have a problem these days. All other programs work well, but the indine hasn't worked for about four months. When you turn on the indine or open the in-design file, the lock does not work and can only be forcibly closed. It's such a waste of money to subscribe to. Can you fix it?

Which version of InDesign and OS?

How much RAM and spare disk capacity do you have?

Have you tried resetting the InDesign preferences?

Can you describe in detail the issues?

While performing each step, please make sure that InDesign and other Adobe apps are closed.

I had an issue with Indesign giving e the Save dialog box within a few seconds of opening or creating a new document. I stopped Time Machine making backups and the "crashing" stopped. Try stopping Time Machine and then opening InDesign and see if that works
