P: Flag & Color Label Shortcut Issues (Specific Languages AZERTY)

I encounter an issue with the latest update (V11) on shortcuts to assign a color label (6,7,8,9).
Those shortcuts won't anymore assign a color label, it will now only remove the color label. 
The shortcut "Assign a color label and go to next photo" (Shift+6 to 9) still work well as previously.
Please fix this adobe, my culling speed depend on it.

On my Mac, the shortcuts to assign a color label (6,7,8,9) do work fine. As outlined, they toggle on and off. Can you tell us more about the OS, the actual keyboard etc?

The same here. LR Classics 11.3.1, Mac OS Monterey 12.3 on 16" MacBook Pro 2021 with M1.

Labels doesn't works on 2 external Magic Keyboards with Numeric Keypad ("long version" of keyboard with number keypads on the right side).

When I press Shift + number 6–9 on Numeric Keypad, LR Classics set label for two (not only one) photos and skip to the third photo.

What works for me:

On the same two keyboards it works with numbers written on 2nd row on keyboard under F functions. So, I press Shift + number 6–9 under F functions, and labels works correctly.

On my Wacom EK Remote for Wacom Cintiq 24, it works well too. I have set shotcut for number 7, and it do what I expected (set yellow label).

J'ai trouvé une solution "temporaire"
Effectivement, c'est lié au clavier etendu francais. A ce moment là, les touches du pavé numérique sont "doublée". Si on regarde bien, le libéllé de couleur passe de "définir" à "Suprrimer" tres rapidement.

Pour palier ce probleme, on peut passer en clavier anglais "QWERTY". Apparement, la gestion du clavier numérique est différente.

Same issue here, Color label on/off by pressing numPad 6 to 9 on a French language AZERTY apple Keyboard, Mac Pro 2019, everything up to date...

I have a temporary solution : 

- Change the system language of your computer to US, not FR !

It works... You can do your selection etc... and comeback to FR when you're done.

It's not perfect but it does the job waiting for Adobe to fix the issue.

Hello,
I let 2 months and updates go by hoping that the problem would be solved, unfortunately it got worse.
now it is impossible for me to mark the colors with the numeric keypad (they are automatically activated and deactivated, like a double click)

I use a loupedeck, I thought it was an incompatibility, I updated everything without success and I even tried to disable the loupedeck without results.

Would you have a solution for me?

J'ai trouvé la solution, je pense. J'ai désactivé l'avance rapide dans le module Bibliotheque. Dans la barre menu désactiver l'avance automatique. Ca a marché pour moi.

 alors pour ma part, (M1 pro, OSX 12,4 et clavier avec pavé numérique), "l'avance automatique" etait deja desactivée. 
Du coup, en l'activant, j'ai 2 photos qui prennent le libellé de couleur et mon curseur se place sur celle d'apres.

The bug can be solved in half a hour. 

May Adobe correct it quickly ?

Environnement :

• Numéro de version classique de Lightroom : 11.4.1 
• Numéro de version du système d'exploitation : macOS Monterey version 12.4 (21F79)
• IMPORTANT : clavier Magic Keyboard avec pavé numérique - Français

Étapes à suivre pour reproduire le problème :

ATTENTION  utiliser les touches du pavé numérique

1. choisir une photo sans attribut couleur (cadre gris)
2. appuyer sur la touche 7 pour attribuer la couleur jaune au cadre
     le message suivant s'affiche 'Supprimer le libellé Jaune'
     et le cadre de la photo reste gris.
3. attribuer le libellé Jaune à l'aide du menu du bouton droit de la souris,
     (Définir les libellés de couleur, puis choisir Jaune) le cadre de la photo devient jaune. 
4.  sur cette même photo (avec cadre jaune) appuyer sur la touche 7 pour supprimer le cadre jaune
       le message suivant s'affiche 'Définir le libellé sur "Jaune" '
       le cadre de la photo reste jaune.
5.  toujours sur cette même photo (avec cadre jaune) appuyer sur la touche 8
     le message suivant s'affiche 'Supprimer le libellé Vert'
     et le cadre de la photo redevient gris.
   
6.  ... même résultat avec toutes les autres touches (couleurs)
         pour information : les touches des notes (0 à 5) fonctionnent correctement.

Résultat attendu :

pouvoir utiliser les touches du pavé numérique pour attribuer les libellés couleurs.
Résultat réel :

incohérence d'attribution des libellés couleurs avec les touches du pavé numérique.

Inutile de s'intéresser aux préférences, réponse standard sur ce site... c'est malheureusement inefficace. Il s'agit d'un des nombreux "bugs" qui sont apparus avec la version Lr 11.2 (au moins sur MacOS), au point de rendre l'application difficilement utilisable. La version 11.4.1 corrige néanmoins un bug très gênant qui empêchait l'usage du raccourci clavier vers l'effet « transformation ». J'ai pu contourner l'essentiel de ces problèmes en utilisant une asociation Stream Deck ± tablette intuos ± logiciel KeyCue.

This bug has been acknowledged by Adobe. Some have worked around the problem by using the numbers 6-9 under the function  keys:

je remarque un comportement étonnant sur Lightroom quand j'applique une note à une photo : si j'ai ma touche Majuscule activé, la note s'applique à la photo active mais aussi à la photo suivante, puis saute à la 3eme image... C'est normal ?

J'utilise souvent le mode majuscule activée pour marquer mes photos, ça permet de passer directement à la photo suivante, mais pour mettre des étoiles, ça me parait bizarre que ça s'applique a deux photos d'un coup^

ça fait la même chose chez vous ?

I notice something surprising on Lightroom when I apply a note (star) to a photo: if I have my Shift key activated, the note applies to the active photo but also to the next photo, then jumps to the 3rd image.. . It's normal ?
I often use the uppercase mode activated to mark my photos, it allows you to go directly to the next photo, but to put stars, it seems strange to me that it applies to two photos at once 
does it do the same with you?

Are you asking about Lightroom (Lr icon) or Lightroom Classic (LrC icon)? What version NUMBER?

That is not normal behavior.  I recall seeing a few reports of this in the past, but I could only find one (with no solution):

Try resetting LR's preferences:

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.

To help others who might encounter this, please let us know whether or not this fixes the problem.

Does the problem occur when you use the numbers above the letters and punctuation?  Does the problem occur when you use the number pad on the right?
