I have Lightroom 10.0
I store all my images on an external.
Lately I have had a very unusual problem: After opening Lightroom, I will click on a picture and without warning a completely unrelated entire Smart Collection will begin to delete (with no command from myself). I move my cursor as fast as I can to the little 'x' to stop the process but I never make it in time. After about the sixth time of this occurence I am beginning to be afraid to launch the program at all. I work on a MacBook Pro, but as I stated before, the images are on the external. I have no clue where to begin to solve this issue. I promise you, I have not clicked any delete buttons so I wonder;
1) Has anyone reading this had this problem
2) How did you solve it?
Have not reached out to Adobe yet. I will if I cannot find an answer on this forum.
Thank you. I will gice that a try.

See if updating to v10.1 fixes this.
V10 had an issue with collections going missing, workaround was to create a new collection, then restart LrC.
