what do i need to do so i don´t lose the edits from my lightroom ?

First, make a complete backup of your current computer.

"what do i need to do so i don´t lose the edits from my lightroom ?" The same thing you need to do to lot lose your documents or pictures; a couple of backups. You edits are in the LR DB (.lrcat file).

Make sure you plan so that you an reinstall your OS.
