When using/applying spot removal tool, previous local adjustments with the Adjustment Brush vanish, seriously annoying as a lot of time and effort went into the Brush adjustments. Has anybody got any suggestions or experienced similar problems? Never experienced this before despite using Lightroom Classic for sebveral years.

You will need to show us screen shots before and after you apply the Spot Removal system to show what you are seeing on your screen.

But I have a suggestion and that is to do Spot removal Before you do any Adjustment brushing or Graduated Filtering adjustments. See if that works correctly for your needs.

Previous slider settings in adjustment brushes only stick if they are selected before clicking on the image to create the mask.

That changes the current default.
