lightroom Crash

I have just experienced a repeated lightroom crash and found that I had accidentally left the microsoft photos app running on my machine. After closing the microsoft app the phenomenon disappeared.  I thought I should mention this in case there is a potential conflict in that area.  I am running windows 10 on a dell all in one. There is no shortage of disc space. The crash was reported to Adobe.

When LR (or Photoshop) crashes, best first fix to try is resetting the prefernces and/or disabling GPU.
