Missing something simple

I have all my photos in subdiectories under I:\SimoneauPhotos. Any time I try to import from that folder or Sync a subfolder, I end up with all kinds of photos from my C: system drive. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

That's the default import location. If the photos are already on the I:\ drive, you should use the ADD option in the Import dialog box, and the photos will stay where they are.

You will need to explain exactly what you are doing. Giving all the step you take and include at least a screen shot of the LrC import dialog window, the full (Whole) window.

 

And state whether the I: drive is actually a Physical drive connected directly to your computer or some type of Linked, Mapped, network drive.
