I was able to use the people masking feauture a few months ago and loved it. Now, I get this error when trying to use it: "Your computer does not have enough graphics memory to support this feature." I have no idea what this means. My computer is a 2019 Macbook pro, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB; anyone have any suggestions?? I reached out to virtual assistant on Adobe and they said to install an older version of Lightroom Classic. I've re-installed about 5 older versions and none of them allow me to use the people masking feature 😞

Any adivce is MUCH appreciated!!!

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut out as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs and it takes up vast amounts of scroll space making the reply less readable and less likely that others will bother with your post.

With each update Lightroom gets more demanding about the GPU, because it makes more use of the GPU. Your built-in Intel GPU has only 1.5 GB of memory and that is below the minimum specs now.

"Any way I can fix this without having to buy a new computer?"

You could disable LR's use of the GPU for the AI masking commands:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-ideas/p-allow-users-to-disable-the-gpu-for-ai-maski...

The commands will run about 4-5 times slower.
