Hi,
I found that some of my images (.PEF files) were damaged. I found those files on a backup HDD.
Is there a way to replace the damaged files with their good copies in Lightroom Classic and save all applied PP and attributes (ratings, labels)?
Thank you very much,
AK
If the files are copies of the same original and same format, use your operating system to replace the damaged files at their location. When you next open the same LrC Catalog they should be automatically recognised.
Do not import.
Do not remove or delete from within LrC that will also remove all the metadata.

Copy (not MOVE) the good backup and then paste it into the folder where the original is located, thereby overwriting the (corrupted) original.
