The Sony A7R iii requires version 7.3 or later.

I have creative classic and I updated the version tonight. Along with all the other programs in Creative Cloud.
Please tell us the version NUMBER of your Lightroom.
What is the exact wording of the error message?
Are you using a card reader or directly connecting the camera? (Card reader is better.)
What kind of import (add, copy, DNG)?
Where is the Import Destination panel pointed to?
