Liebe Community,

Nico

A new update for Adobe Photography Products has been released.  The December update contains an update for this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for being so patient.

Hi @Max25233901lupr! Welcome to the Community! Could you share more details about the issues you're having with the white balance eyedrop tool? Also, which version of Lightroom and Operating System are you using?

Thanks a lot!

I've got the exact same problem. Pointer changes to zoom tool and does not go back. M4 Sequoia 15.1
This is really unfortunate, since I just moved everything from LRC to lightroom cloud.
LR is currently NOT USABLE because of this. Adobe: Fix it please! I'm eyeballing C1 again and I think it's time to finally do it.

I have a similar problem. In Zoom mode I can't use any pencil tool. Lightroom is unusable, really bad. Sonoma 14.14.1, Mac Book Air 13

As Rikk noted above, this was fixed in the December update (version 8.1). Please make sure you're on the latest version.

After using Lr for a while (few minutes to half an hour or rmore, depending on intensity of use), the Remove/Heal/Clone brush disappears and only shows the arrow cursor. Remove/Heal/Clone still works, but it is impossible to see exactly what area is being treated.

I realize this may be tied to the size of my cache, but it's set at 185gb and I'm using an M1 16" MBP w/ 16gb ram, Sequioa 15.2, running Lr 8.1 (though this has been going on for a year or more, I've just never bothered to report it).

Quitting and re-starting solves the problem, but I may need to do this 2 or 3 times over a couple of hours.

For me the problem happens in full screen mode. Suddenly the Mac OS Application bar at the top disappears. From then I can't zoom and move in full screen mode. See attached screenshot.

I gave up waiting for Adobe to fix bugs, with the constant promise of "its fixed in the latest release" being the regular response, and everytime it wasnt! I dont even report the bugs anymore because I have no faith anyone will ever fix them!! Everyone I know would happily settle for the next versions of software just to be more optimised, without bugs. Skip the new features!!!

Thanks for the extra details. I'd like to get diagnostic logs from a few of you. I'll reach out privately with next steps.
