I have figured out that I only get the error on photos that I have "duplicated" on Lightroom on my desktop. I typically duplicate photos I want to edit so that I have an Instagram 1x1 version and then a printable 5x7 version. The only work around I've found is that I have to to save the duplicated photos to my desktop, import them into my Apple photo library, then from Lightroom mobile I have to upload them from my Apple library, add my watermark, then save them back to my Apple photo library. This is extremely annoying and time consuming.

for me personally I had to go through 3 photos in a stack on desktop, make sure they were no longer in edit mode, then wait for the cloud icon on the top right to finish. then when opening on mobile it seemed to fix it. good luck!

This is a possible solution for error code T20200121.  If you have Virus software installed on your mobile device and if the software includes a "safe browsing" feature or VPN service, this service will interfere with Adobe mobile apps.  I use McAfee and had to turn off this service in order to use Lightroom mobile.  Here is more information.

Yes, the problem is still there after upgrading to today's version. The only way to fix the problem is to edit the photo on the Web. It then propagates to iOS again. Could you please fix this problem once and for all? And make it, you know, like a priority? It's juts do damned annoying.

Mine doesn’t even fix itself if I edit the photo in my desktop again. It’s so frustrating. I’m spending time to edit these photos and then they won’t even upload properly to Lightroom mobile. Please fix this!

Hi all. After reading the possible fixes here I’ve been trying all possible methods but have not been successful. It seems a lot of my old photos are unable to load and am getting the same error code. Would greatly appreciate the support as I’m really anxious of losing my hard edited and saved photos from all the years back!

I had this exact same issue with one of my photos. The error code was the same on mobile. This happens for photos that the original is not on the cloud but on your local machine.

I did manage to go to adobe.lightroom.com and made a sligh edit to the photo.

That allowed the photo's edits to appear on lightroom desktop. Just long enough for me to copy all the edits. I then exported the original and re-imported it and pasted the edits.

I deleted the photo with the issue.

I have other sync issues (with mobile) that im going to make a post about

My devices are all 100% updated. I've been having this issue for several months now. A set of photos on my iOS devices is failing to sync properly with my desktop Lightroom environment (Windows 10).

Same problem here. Been like this for over 2 years. I only use lightroom mobile (iOS) not desktop so its not about sync between mobile and classic here

Ive been having this problem for several months now and I'm about fed up with Adobe. There has been no solution and no one has gotten back to me. I've tried every fix that I've read about in these forums and nothing works. What's the point of paying a monthly subscription if I can't actually use Lightroom mobile?!?  It happened to me again today. I edited the pic on my Mac and then tried to view it on the mobile app. Fix this issue please!!!

I've had this same issue off and on for the 2 months I've been using Lightroom.  It's happening again today.  I've tried the online edit trick, no luch.  Adobe, please give this some attention.

@Rikk

as of today this is still an issue and it is incredibly frustrating. I have signed out, signed in on all devices. deleted and reinstalled the program multiple times. and this error code is showing up on edited photos only. work I have recently edited is now inaccessible, and work I've done months ago is now inaccessible as well. I have 8,000 photos over 4 years of work with clients, and deleting every photo to reupload, reorganize, and re-edit again is just insane. PLEASE find a solution to this if one hasn't already been found. thank you.

@wendi_fisher_4msrsdmaytggr if you update all your clients to the latest version, do you still reproduce it with those same steps?
