P: Video does not play in full screen detail

When viewing photos and videos in full screen detail mode, videos would show as static picture with video controls (not functional) overlaid over it. Cannot play video in Fullscreen Detail (Shortcut F) mode.

Greetings,   The Max 2021 Photography products updates have been released and include remedies for this topic.  The updates will be rolling out worldwide, October 26 and 27, 2021. If you do not see the updates in your Creative Cloud Desktop app, you can refresh the apps to see if the updates are available in your region.  The keyboard shortcut to refresh is [Cmd/Ctrl] + [Opt/Alt] + [ R ].    Note: iOS and Android updates may take up to a week to appear in your App Store.   Thank you for your pat...

Over 8 months passed, and it still does not work. On Mac a video in full-screen mode just kicks you out of full-screen, and on Windows it displays non-functioning video controls and sometimes kicks out of full screen. Why can't it just play videos in full screen, like Windows Photos or any other basic photoviewer?
