Hey,
I don´t get the Idea behind the sharing and downloading thing in Lightroom.
My Client is able to see the images.
I have given him the permission to download a jpg file ,
but this is onl possible if you enter the album in the webbrowser.
If the client uses the IOS App the only symbols are a Cloud (sync) and three dots and the funnel where
it´s possible to filter the images.
Why is this so complicated to give the permission and why is this different in the webbrowser and the IOS app?
And is there a collaboratoion option?
If I want to share the pictures with an LR Artist?
Why is this app so limited? I don´t get it?
Can someone explain the workflow of sharing and beeing able to download the image?
thanxs
Peter

I don't believe you can save to your own Catalog/Library from a Shared Album (but you should be able to)... you can only export out of Lightroom - with downloads turned on.

You can add feature requests to both od these forums which are monitored by the engineering team.
What do you require with a collaboration option?

Hey,
I thought that sharing the a Collection would be the way to get the information of the client
which pictures I should work on for the final retouch and artwork.
but if the client can´t comment or mark the pictures this way is not working.
How are you working with clients on a collection?
Do you export every time the collection?
kind regards Peter
