Hello all.
When I embed video via Object > Insert HTML...
<video width="320" height="180" autoplay>
<source src="assets/video.mp4" type="video/mp4">
</video>
... the height of the object changes to 184! If I attempt to change the size of the object by typing in "180" directly into the corresponding transform field, or by dragging the bounding box handles, Muse has a think for a second or two, then reverts it back to 184.
I have since discovered that changing the font size when the object is selected changes the amount the object's height increases / decreases. Needless to say this is infuriating as fonts have no business encroaching on my embedded video.
Now, this doesn't actually affect the video itself - that remains true at 320x180 - it's just the video's "container" (if that's the correct word?) that is wrong.
Is this normal behaviour? It seems very odd to me. Am I worrying about nothing, or can this cause issues with a responsive design later down the road?
Kind regards,
Lucy.
Yes, I see your video, looks like it was deleted by the system, sorry for that.
However, minor pixel difference in height won't affect your site anyway.
It isn't a bug, so you may go ahead and publish the site freely.
Thanks,
Ankush

Hey Lucy,
My personal suggestion is you can ignore this slight mismatch in height of your video.
In a responsive design, it is the width which matters more and not height.
You can share your site link once published and we will have a close look at it.

Ankush

Thank you for your reply, Ankush.
Are you suggesting this mismatch isn't normal then, if you're wanting a closer look?
I have embedded the video on a blank page and filled the container with red, so you can see the forced extra height below the video.
If this is normal behaviour of these containers, then I don't have an issue with it. I just don't like not knowing if something is bugged or not.
Kind regards,
Lucy.
