High of Fields in Contact Form fixed to 36px?

Hi out there!

I want to make a quick contact formular into the top Line

But when i try to resize i only can resize the high till 36 pix, not smaller?

Is this the Minimum high? why?

What can i take (widget?) to get a smaller one?

The height of the fields is dependent to the font size used within.

If the height can’t be smaller than 36 px, just make the text size of this field smaller. Be aware, that you have to change text size of all states you find in the "States" panel.

Thanks for your fast reply, but i don´t want to make the font smaller.... its more than enough space ...

its 3 times the high of the font size... font 12, square is 36

but 2 times the font size would be more then enough....

Using a 12 pt Georgia without any additional spacing before/after and a line spacing of 100% the input field here has a minimal height of 24 px.

If I use a line spacing of 50 % the minimal height of the input field is 18 px.
