How to animate objects after being clicked on multiple times?

Hey guys,

I have a website animation idea that I need help with.

I want to have a vector image of an egg that, once clicked on many times by the user, cracks slowly in bits each time the shell is clicked, then falls to either side of the centre of the screen, where the user can then enter the website. So it's kind of like animation integrated with user interactions.

I've spent so many hours trying to figure out if I can create this through overlapped vector image keyframes that are hidden in layers and revealed as they are clicked on, but can't make anything work!

I'd love some help!

Cheers,

Trin

That would require an interactive SVG with suitable code that counts the clicks.
