Not able to change text of a text box with a trigger.

Hi!

Been dealing with this for 2 hours and not success.

Note: I'm working with a template

I have a composition, withing the composition, a text frame within a trigger.  This text is only displayed in rollover or mouse down.

Manages to change the font, the size, the colour but not the actual text.

I got into the layers --> trigger --> and found the text. Changed it there but still does not update it!

double Clicked on the box and the text disappears and I'm not able to change it

I'm new to Muse, but there is something strange in here.

I run out of ideas.

Any suggestion?

Hey,

Can you attach a screenshot of that particular text box?

Usually, if you do multiple clicks on the box the text within should be highlighted.

Adding to Ankush, in your composition you see different states, right? So now choose your desired state, click on the text you want to edit, until "Text" appears in the upper left menu bar (as Ankush wrote or at least meant), if you now double-click, the text should be editable.

If not, reduce another site to this composition and provide a .muse.

I tried this but not working. I see the text and no matter how many times I click on it, it does not let me change it

Give us a .muse, reduced to your issue, one page with your desired composition.

Where did you try to attach an image? With this?:

Share your .muse via CC (put into your local CC folder and share it) or dropbox or similar file sharing app.

Thanks Everyone for trying to help. I think my internet it's not letting me upload files! But I got it sorted out, someone else had a look at the file and it was such a silly thing.

The text in active mode was 0 opacity, therefore, I could not see the text !!! grgr.  Now it's all fixed!! 🙂

Hi Ankush, I clicked so many times on the text box it's not funny. MAybe something to do with the trigger?

Trying to attach an image and it's not letting me do it either! grgrgr
