I use adobe muse still as it is buy far the most powerful web building software and I use it for lots of projects! If I buy a new MacBook this year will this software work on Apple' silicon processor?
Bring Back Muse!!!!!
NEWS JUST IN: ADOBE MUSE WORKS ON APPLE SILICON!
However. I had to copy the application folder from my old computer using a USB drive. It doesn't show up in the creative cloud application, even after installing it into the applications folder. I haven't been able to transfer all my project folders across to the new machine yet to test (these things take time) But I could start a new document and start building a web page and so far all looks ok. Can I run my Adobe Apps on Apple's new M1 chip?

Hey everyone, I'm one of those who still use and love Muse, I think a lot of you have this question: does it run on M1 chip?, the answer is yes (from my experience), but know this: it's almost impossible to install it the old way, the installer that I had no longer works on this version of Big Sur (11.2.3), I tried hundred of different ways to install, I failed everytime, the only way to install it on my new macbook pro M1 chip was by copying the installed files on a older macbook pro and paste

NoOne responsible for this Muse will ever read this - so Muse will not come back.
1) Move to any other powerfull tool out there.
2) Use XD and export as html - keep on with either Dw (for me NoNo) or Pinegrow or any which can deal with exported html.
3) Use either nicepage, sparklapp, blocs for mac, without code, webflow, or …
4) Use Pinegrow
Pinegrow is capable of muse´s exported and published html and does a great job for the purpose of keeping Muse sites alive
but be aware that code of Muse might get sucked by browser updates someday.
Although this might happen later or sooner - Muse will probably (most likely?) not work on the new OS of either Windows or Mac.
Kind Regards,
Uwe

That's very doubtful given that Muse development ended more than 2 years ago. It's discontinued and unsupported. Muse employees left the building to work on other projects. They are not coming back. You would do well to find another web authoring solution ASAP.

Important Announcement about Muse

I am buying an M1 machine tomorrow. I will let you know as soon as I have the machine if a: you can download muse at all and b: it works.
Yes, Muse isn't coming back but I know SO many people who are still using it and manage many websites using it. I run 4 websites using Muse and telling me to move to something else is going to cost me a fortune in time and money. I have older machines lying around so it's not a mssive problem and I'll conitnue to use Muse for the forseeable future, and so will many others.
Will get back to you as soon as I have my new M1 Macbook Air. Might be next week byt the look of it.

Be sure to read the following BEFORE you upgrade. Keeping in mind that Muse will never be updated to work with newer equipment and OSs, you're entirely on your own if something goes wrong.
Good luck!

I'm interested too. Even with no native update, I guess with Rosetta 2 it should work.

Not looking good so far. Even after clicking the 'show older apps' function in preferences, muse is not coming up as an available download. I'm going to copy the application from my older computer next, and see if creative cloud recognises it

Just FYI, my M1 Macbook Air has downloaded the beta CC v5.3.5.499. In this version Muse is not available to download as an 'older app'. But I will try manually installing the app from my older computer v shortly

You can find a download link to the final 2018 version of Muse on this page, if you want to keep the installer (before it disappears completely!).

It's looking good. Opened a huge web project. The fonts didn't load in properly but I just replaced them again and it all works perfectly fine so far. Haven't exported a job's html files yet but it all seems to be working just dandy. MUSE I LOVE YOU
