File thumbnails changed to white and other problems since update

Since the latest update to Photoshop 25 my psd file thumbnails are white instead of blue with the PS. Also, "open with photoshop" is no longer an option when right clicking on a file. I can drag it into photoshop.
Another thing is all of my presets are gone, my fault because until now I didn't realize you could save them!
Previous versions of photoshop are all gone as well.
I have Windows 11.

Hi!
What troubleshooting options have you tried so far? Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop? Do you have auto update turned on in the Creative Cloud app? Can you download the previous versions of Photoshop from Creative Cloud? Or do you need to go back further?

Thank you, mglush!
I did uninstall and reinstall and that fixed the thumbnail and "open with" issue. That was the problem bugging me the most.
Quick question, If I do download previous versions (I reinstalled the latest), is there a chance my presets will be there? Can I install an older version while the latest is installed?
Thanks again,
Betsy

I am glad to hear that you got it resolved!
Yes, you can install an older version even if you have a newer version installed. I always recommend that when someone installs a new version to make sure you do not overwrite an older version, and keep it in tact. That way if you are having problems with the newer version, you have not destroyed your ability to continue working while you troubleshoot the issues with a new version.
If you have auto-update turned on, I would recommend that you turn it off.
When you do a new installation, make sure to select (and I can't remember the exact wording) the option that will create a new version and not write over the old version. I don't think this applies to installing an older version, but I wanted to mention it just in case.
What older versions are you looking to install?
And to address your question of presets, only the default presets that come with the program will be installed when you install a previous version. If you created any custom presets and did not save them, they are gone. If and when you do create any cusom presets--brushes, actions, styles, be sure and save them so if this ever happens again, you have something to go back to.
Let us know if that helps or if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the great advice! I am not going to bother with the older versions knowing my presets are gone. Fortunately I didn't have tons of them and can easily find them to install again when needed.
Appreciate your help!
Betsy
