P: Healing Brush Tool "Use Legacy" does not work in PS 25.11 on MAC

HELP!!!!!

In photoshop beta the healing brush tool in legacy mode is not working at all. It works fine when legacy is unchecked.  It works fine in non-beta photoshop.

Hi @dianer_macperson

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

Same problem! But now it is observed in Photoshop 25.11 Release (in newer betas the problem is not fixed). The latest version where the Healing Brush in legacy mode works properly is 25.9.1

Please fix this in the new versions.

In photoshop (photoshop v 25.11.0),  healing brush tool in legacy mode is not working at all. It works fine when legacy is unchecked.
It works fine in older versions in photoshop.

My older work mac with Beta 25.12 and system software monterey 12.7.5 it does not work with.

unfortunatly I cannot upgrade my system software further on this work machine with the new system software.

I updated to 25.11.0 yesterday morning and since doing so the healing brush (NOT the spot healing brush) does not work on my multi layered files when using the legacy algorithm set to sample Current & Below.

I have seen the many issues people have with the tool and the offered solution is to make sure it's being used on the right layer, but that is not my issue.

Please fix.
Thanks!

This is a confirmed bug in the Photoshop 25.11 release.

Hopefully will be fixed in the next point release, but in the meantime if that is critical to your work you can uninstall 25.11 and install 25.9.1

Não aparece para mim essa versão disponível... a 25.12 ... apenas a 25.11 ... e também estou tendo problema com o Helling Brush com Use Legacy ativado. É a ferramenta que mais utilizo nas minhas edições, alguma coisa que posso fazer?

The healing brush tool does not work on an empty layer.

The healing brush tool is set on "Current and Below" and it works in normal mode, but the Legacy mode(which is the superior mode) doesn't work.

It is very very important for retouching so please fix this as soon as possible!

So again what I need:

Empty layer above the Background layer

The Healing Brush is set on Legacy Mode and Current and Below mode

It should work, but it doesn't work in the latest version!

After last update, when I try to use a healing brush (legacy mode only) in a document with more than one layer, it behave quite strange and after two or three usings always crashes an app (without crash report window, even enabled). It somehow like splashes pixels around area beyond its size.....and than a little cross appears....and crash. Did you someone observe this?

(system info: updated windows 11), last nvidia drivers (RTX3070), 64GB RAM, ryzen 2700x)

Upvote the post, so that Adobe notices and hopefully fix it in the next version. I can only work in the previous version until it's fixed.
