Seems to be an issue exclusive to OSX.

Export As with hidden Adjustment layers with clipping masks adds those hidden layers into the exported image.

Can confirm that this is still present in 21.0.3, and is still a bummer.

From what I just tried, I would ask you to try the following workaround:
Group the adjustment layer and clipping masks then hide the group.

i don't understand why all these clipping group issues are taking so many years to fix. Seems like there's been a constant stream of bugs since day one and it's never been fully resolved. In the meantime, there are still several additional types of clipping groups which are missing from the feature.
