When I hook up my USB drive containing my Photoshop files to my iPad and try to upload them the layers originally created in Photoshop aren't transferring to the iPad app… There are no layers when I open the file in this app. Can somebody please help me? Is this one of the features that are not yet available? Or are my files just screwed up?

Hi
Since your question is about Photoshop for iPad, I have moved this for you. Your layers should come across. Can you show a screen shot of the Layers panel in each application?

Layered psd opening is supported in the application if you are using the Import and open option from the Home page. Do the files open as expected from drive on the desktop?

"When I hook up my USB drive"

Hi

  • What file format are you saving your file in?
  • Where are you saving it?
  • What happens if you save the PS file on your desktop into the Creative Cloud folder and then in PS for iPad, you tap Import and browse for the file (bypassing the USB drive)

Also, I asked for screen shots in each application. Thank you for the one, but we also need the one from Photoshop for desktop.
