Any experts out there know where my image disappears to when I minimize the photo in workspace?

It seems to disappear completely, no tabs.

Closing PS, and if the minimized images was changed without saving it magically appears.

Many thanks for your reply. I'm using WIndows 10 (all up to date) and tabbed view.

The attached screenshots show top; image as opened. Then, hitting minimize image, it disappers as in bottom screenshot.

I can't see where to retrieve it from, and revert to 'open recent' and start again.

Thanks again

Click on the PS icon in the Taskbar and then click on a photo to bring it into the workspace.

Or in photoshop go to Window and at the bottom is a list of open documents. Click on the one you want.
