When I open an image in photoshop on my iMac I get a solid red image. If I hit to Q key the image flashes but does not remove the red. Image opens in full s creen mode.

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble while opening images in Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the version of Photoshop you're using along with your computers macOS version?

You can try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor in Photoshop by going to Preferences, then Performance. Once done, quit & relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.

If you're using the latest version of Photoshop (22.4.2), you can also try going to Preferences, then Technology Previews & enable the option to Deactivate Native Canvas. Relaunch Photoshop & let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Nikunj
