Hi
There were some great ideas and images in our last SFTW Golf Course challenge. This week, I thought we should take a walk without the clubs and have modelled and rendered this countryside stile, using Blender 3D , Adobe 3D Painter and XFrog. So now we have the country scene, what will you do to bring it to life?
The “rules”:
* Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc
* Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum "regulars".
* There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
To download the image below at its full pixel size, and with an embedded ICC colour profile (sRGB), hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image – please use the Blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun.

Dean, Hi.
To answer your question about the lighting.
Truth is, searching for source images is the hardest part.
I did most of the PS work with SFTW 119_Bridge cross.
My usual, is basic PS Layers, Layer masking, Blend modes, Opacity, Adjustment Layers, Brushes, etc, etc . . . . .
Long ago, I was so into Photoshop. I started with PS 5. (Year???)
Recent years, I seldom even turn on.
SFTW is simply a fun way to renew my PS skills once again and have fun.

I recognise that keyhole Dean. I always thought it was looking from the outside, in though, but it turns out it was from the inside looking out !

Blimey, I'm losing track of time. I completely forgot to look for the SFTW thread today. And today is another cracker, if I may say so. (name that quote)

Yes, a day [behind] and a dollar short. 😊 I'm drinking my second cup of coffee on Saturday morning.

I'll stay on this side of the stile thank you, unless you want to go first and distract the bull ? 🙂

It's one of the videos I have watched over and over. It might have been for the song to start with (Chances by Athlete) but the video has a real feel good quality about it that never fails to make me smile. If anyone watches the video for the first time after reading about it here, I hope they enjoy it as much as I have.

I did guess Dr Who before I scrolled down to the answer but way too late in looking at this to be the first 🙂
