I am trying to recreate a PNG to match another PNG - it's a small pixelart 24x24.
If I right-click properties on the original I see...
Bit depth = 4
Size 385bytes
I recreated the same image on a 24x24 canvas in Photoshop, and exported to PNG. When I right-click on properties, I see similar traits:
Bit depth = 4
Size = 385 bytes
However - when I compare the Sha-256 HASH of the two images - they come don't equal each other. What other properties within the file could causing the HASH function to consider these different images?

sorry - title is misleading -sizes aren't different - but they SHA-256 hash doesn't recognize them as the same image. That's what I'm trying to solve for.

And after further study, the idea of hashing is to identify an image as the original. In fact SHA means "Secure Hashing Algorithm". You cannot reverse-engineer it. In the world of Non-Fungible Tokens, it identifies the artwork as the original. Protection against forgeries. In computing, you know the software you downloaded is the original and not a hacked copy.
Difference between Hashing and Encryption
Anyway, since I'm not a computer engineer, you can check that with other sources.
