The installation window for the Elements 2019 trial version is only half showing.  I can't widen it or scroll down to see the installation options.  Using Windows 10 OS.  Is there a solution to this problem?

Ok, So in case if you have not been able to install it yet using any workaround or have not contacted chat support yet, you could try installing the product using command prompt.

Please follow the below steps to install:

  1. Open command prompt in administrator mode..
  2. Run command <path of setup file>\Setup.exe --silent =1, e.g: C:\Users\vipingupta\Downloads\PhotoshopElements_2019_LS30_win64.exe --silent=1
  3. Once you run this command, you should be able to see the installation progress displayed on command

Did changing the resolution to 1280 x 800, resolved your problem, or are you still facing the issue?

Thanks

Changing resolution to 1280x800 from 1920x1200, with scaling already at 100% did nothing.

Command prompt solution worked fine, although if this is the 'demo' to tempt you to purchase, this does not leave me with great hopes for how the app is build or will be supported (only support option given was community)

Hi Bruce,

We are sorry for the inconvience caused while installing the product, but if you might have noticed that we have migrated our installer technology to a new modern look and faster installation support for the product, which helps you install a big product quickly.

Although this should not have happen, but still before purchasing the product, you can use it for 30 days as a free trial, and only purchase it, when you are fully satisfied that it is worth buying.

Also since we are investigating the issue, could you please help me with the below details:

1) Operating system

2) Internet explorer version

3) Screen Resolution and Scale settings

4) Size of your monitor

In case of any issues or queries, we are here to help you.

Kind Regards,

Vipin

I did an online chat with Adobe Customer Support for this very issue. The tech took over my computer to assist, and at the end the install worked. He told me that pressing the Tab key at that initial small screen was what worked. I tried it, and was able to scroll down on that screen with a couple of presses of Tab.

Apart from the step mentioned by Vipin, could you also try changing the scale settings once?

To do so, please right-click on the Desktop and choose 'Display Settings'.

Under the 'Change the size of text, apps, and other items', please set the value to 100%.

Let us know if this helps you out.

Thanks,

Medha
