I have PSE14 (14.0.0.0 - no updates available).  Suddenly when I try to add a new location, the World Map won't open so I am unable to add a new place.  Any ideas?  Is there a way to repair the installation without messing everything up (the installation, the catalogue, etc)?

Grateful for advice. Regards.

Hello Anwesha,

I have the same issue. I think Adobe can fix this issue very easy. Look at this page.

Google Maps APIs  |  Google Developers

Adobe has use this in Elements 15.

It is very easy for Adobe to fix this issue. Elements 14 is only two years old.

Can you explain what do you mean "working on possible solutions"

Buy a new version is not a possible solutions.

free update is a possible solutions.

Hi Arshla

I to am using PSE-14 and the maps have stopped coming up. I am using Windows 10 Home (Version 1803) and the version of elements 14  I am using is:

Core Version: 14.1 (20151206.m.83730)

Language Version: 14.1 (20151206.m.83730)

Any ideas how I can solve this?

I have this problem too. I am using Mac High Sierra 10.13.6. I am getting very frustrated with how poorly Places works.

In general I find PSE very frustrating as it crashes A LOT. Not happy with Adobe's lack of attention to the Elements customers. I'm a hobbyist, and am not interested in a subscription. I'm using other editing software more and more, and will likely not buy another version of an Adobe product.
