I purchased photoshop elements 2021 & installed it on my desktop, everything seemed to be working OK until a few days ago, when ever I try to open it now I get a pop up message saying sign in required. I purchased the software because I am not always connected to the internet.

Think it may have started to do this after an update so wondering if there is a setting that has been changed, hoping someone can help as I don't want to have to sign in each time I use the software.

Could you share more details. Did you signed out from the application? Did you installed any updates for the application?

Did this appear when you are not connected to the internet?
