Best way/option to convert .vob files for Elements

I'm importing my dvds onto my computer and I need a better way to convert the files to work best for Elements please.

Try searching for a VOB to MP4 converter.  You may have to do some "trial and error".  Editing existing DVDs is not a Premiere Elements feature.

You should not need to convert VOBS, however. I hate to disagree with you, Bill, but, in a project that is properly set up for VOBs, Premiere Elements can edit DVD video natively.
