Editing software for Elements 12 usually works well after importing most media. But, after importing certain DVDs with between 40 min. and 1 hour on them, the audio and video are not synced in the timeline. Any ideas? Thanks!
How are you getting the video and audio from your disc to your computer? Are you using Premiere Elements' Video Importer? It will ensure you're properly ripping the files.
And of course we're assuming this is a home-made DVD. Breaking copy protection in order to rip video from a commercial DVD adds several other layers of variables/.
