Hey,

For some reason when I am in the edit mode (editing videos), I do not hear any audio.

I see master moving, so clearly audio is there.

If I Export the video and play it in the system all sound are aduble.

What can cause the fact that editing videos do not paly /output audio out form the master ??

Go to the Audio Hardware page of the program's preferences. Try changing the settings for Input and/or Output. When it's set right it usually fixes this.

Hi Steve,

This is what I have doen. Does not help. Fore some reason have this probelm now in 2 of my Mac.

Only Macbook Pro working, but still would like to use those for video editing as one is iMac with 27" screen.
I have looked all audio routing settings and the seem to be right. Still no sound in editing...

I have also installed it again... nothing helps...

What are your Input and Output set to?

Do you have a USB connected audio device (headset, webcam, microphone) connected to your computer?

In my iMac I have nothing than Bose speakers directly from Headset Out.

In my Mac Studio I have Universal Audio Apollo system with Thunderbolt.
I have selected the correct devices from the settings so in all simplicity it shoud work.

All outer software works (Like DAW, Spotify etc. ) excep Elements.

It's very likely your Input and Output settings.

Try setting Input to None and Output to your Speakers (and ensure there are no other output options available). Also try unplugging your webcam (if its USB) and see if that makes a difference.

If that doesn't do it, I don't know what will.
