Premier Elements 2018 and Titles in Expert

I am just trying to learn PE 2018 I got it for Christmas and I am having a very difficult time with it.

I have watched lots of tutorials that say to add text put it on the "Title Track" but in my view I don't have a Title Track above the video??

So what I want to do is add text onscreen while the video is running. In GoPro studio that was easy just put it on the text track above the video section where you want it to appear. Easy!

Any help on how I do this would be appreciated.

The "title track" would be the Video 2 track that is above the primary Video 1 track.

Thank you for your quick answer. I guess more learning needs to be done. I can't get the text overtop of the video.

Make sure you are in Expert View.

I've never used it, but I checked and there is a track above the video in Quick that is marked "T" for title.

Thank you for your replies. I got it to work by deleting the titles I had made and making new ones some how that worked to appear over the video.
