Premiere Elements 2020 auf MacBook M1 versagt bei "löschen und Lücke schließen"

Hallo Community,

neben ständigen Problemen bei der Anmeldung (jede 2. benötiugt Kennwort zurücksetzen) habe ich akut folgendes  Problem:

0. Im Videoeditor wird eine zulöschende Sequenz ermittelt

1. Schnitt an gewünschter Stelle

2. Segment davor aktivieren

3. "Segment löschen und Lücke schließen" im Dropdownmenü gewählt

4.  es erscheint die erwartete Lücke, sie wird aber nicht gelöscht

5. nach dem Vorziehen auf 0:00 ist das gelöschte Segment wieder im Stream enthalten

Was tuen, um ordentlich zu schneiden ???

Freue mich auf konstruktive Antworten

PS: Hat noch jemand Probleme mit dem Einlesen von ".mov"-Files von iPhone ???

1. Delete and close gap and other "ripple" functions work primarily on the Video/Audio 1 track.

2. Delete and close gap won't work if there is video or audio on a parallel track. The "gap" must be through the entire timeline, not just in the track you're editing.

It was just 1 mp4-file loaded and nothing else in the working space !
