Hello, I am trying to install Premire Pro (Beta) build 25 but it is not showing in Creative Cloud.
Please see screenshot - how to install this?

I need the beta as I read here it has an error bug fix (MXF file frame rendering/glitch issue). It's urgent an I'm stuck as every render of my sequence has random glitches.

Thanks

From Fergus H.

Note: if you are unable to find the Premiere Pro beta in Creative Cloud Desktop, choose the Apps icon from the left navigation bar, then click All app, then scroll down to the very bottom of the application list.

This oddity of the PR Beta not appearing where it should in the cloud desktop occurred recently. Your are on the Beta apps tab (where it belongs), but as MyerPJ says, it is in the All apps tab, toward the bottom - in no logical sort order that I can see.

Some cautions about the Beta:

1) I do not recommend using the Beta version for deadline-sensitive work, but many users use it successfully. The Beta version often works very well. But there are also regular bugs, some of which make the version unusable until the next build, or less commonly, more than one build. Builds appear most, but not all, days. This just happened in build 43 and 44.

2) You can only install the latest version of the Beta, and cannot roll back to a previous version. In the release versions, even though it is easier to roll back, I create a clone of my system drive so I can roll back everything. I suggest doing the same thing if you use the Beta version for production work.

3) The current Beta (25.0.0) is at PR project file version 43, while the release PR 2024.x is project file version 42. This means that you cannot open a Beta version file in the release version.

There are methods for down-converting project files. But there is no guarantee that the older version will correctly work for any newer elements. So always backup all the relevant files.

The official method is exporting xml:
https://helpx.adobe.com/in/premiere-pro/using/exporting-projects-applications.html#OpeningPremierePr...

There are other methods and on-line converters. Google "Downgrading Premiere Pro project file."
