Color labels get lost in multicam

Color labels are a great way to avoid wrong cuts in your sequence. Sometimes an ISO is switched by accident for a long time, visual 'color' check avoids this accidents.

When using a multiclip though, the color labels of the individual angles are not displayed.

In attached jpeg an example. The left segment is a multclip, with a few cuts to different angles.

the right segment is a copy of the left segment, but flattened the multiclip.

note; Productions misses the checkbox: 'display the product item name and label color for all instances'

In Premiere Pro, multicam is treated essentially as a "clip". That may be why they don't have mulitple colors showing in a multicam.

Productions by design does not have the show labels for all instances. Say 10 editors working a project, grabbing some of the same assets ... one changes the color code of an asset that appears in other sequences, they've just blown out the setup used by the other editors.

Someone the other day noted this as a "bug" ... which it ain't ... but thought that it should be an option, especially as some teams have a set uniform color scheme. Not a bad addition that would be.

I understand, MC is treated as a clip and therefore one color.
From an editors perspective it is important to visualy see which actual clip (angle) is chosen.
Maybe both can apply: use the source (angle) clip color. To also identify the multiclip make it tinted? 
Anyway it would be great feature, time & error saver if colors of the chosen angle are displayed.
 
As for productions. We (NEP) have a large facility, 30+ editsuites in the Netherlands. 
We are just rolling out Productions. Kind of a problem if colors are not displaying in sequences.
Idea: production clip color,  master clip color, local clip color (like Avid, but improved off course:-)
Production clip color is a scheme set and stored with the production.
Master clip color is tied to the master clips metadata. Just like markers.
Local clip color is 'local' and stored with the project only.
 
To display the needed:
sequence, bins & settings menu have a selection button: display prod clip color, display master clip color, display local clip color.
Creative Animal (part of NEP worldwide) is participating in prerelease for 7 years. Happy to set up a more intense collaboration.

If you open up an MC clip as a sequence, then you could see differently colored individual cam angles, but that of course isn't what you're wanting to see.

Yea, I understand the wish ... it would be nice for you (and others) to see the cam-angle changes. Might be a bit of engineering to do.
