A low level exception occurred in import mpeg

Hi,

It have been always possible to import  and work on .mkv since the recent update (around 04/19/2019). Since this update when i import my videos (.mkv), the file is imported but when i want to work on it and double click on it to open it in the source monitor a failure message appear "A low level exception occurred in import mpeg"

And after this message, the whole application bug, i can't preview my sequence any more, premiere pro do not respond and crashed...

If anyone can help me i take it !!

Hi Volcanios,

To my knowledge, mkv is not a supported file format. Check this list for supported file format and codecs of  Premiere Pro: Premiere Pro supported file formats

Please transcode the .mkv files to any supported file formats and use in Premiere Pro.
