Adobe Premiere Pro stops working as soon as I install Adobe Acrobat DC

I've been having a lot of problems launching Adobe Premiere Pro on my computer. The Adobe technicians have given me a lot of suggestions.  But none of them have been able to fix the problem. They have told me that my C++ redistributable files are corrupted, my graphic card needs more updates and that I need to install and uninstall everything.

I formatted the computer and installed windows from scratch. I installed Premiere Pro and it was working. I installed Adobe Acrobat DC and Premiere stopped working. I have tried repeating these steps many times and everytime I get the same results. The problem is that once Adobe Acrobat is installed, Premiere won't launch anymore even if I remove it!

This is really frustrating because I'm paying for both of these softwares and I can't get them both to work together.

The problem was that I was using the latest driver for my graphic card from NVIDIA's website. Instead I should have installed the driver from Dell's website. Now that I'm using the Dell driver (My computer is a Dell XPS) both Acrobat and Premiere work.

I don't recall anyone else reporting this.  I have both programs installed on two machines and no issues.  What exactly happens when you try launching PP?

OK.

Are there any entries for the crash in Windows Event Viewer?

I do recommend anyone buying a pre-made computer wipe the hard drive as the very first action and reinstall Windows from scratch.  Most come with crapware that can interfere with the proper operation of Adobe software.

The normal nVidia driver should work.  That it didn't suggests you might need to take the above advice.
