Here is the new location for the Legacy Titler: Choose File > New > Legacy Title

  • The Title menu is no longer included. In its place is the Graphics menu, however, the original Titler is not included in the list of choices on that menu.
  • You can also create a custom keyboard shortcut for launching the Legacy Titler.
  • The Legacy Titler has been removed from the New Item button, use the menu command or a keyboard shortcut instead.

As an editor, I advise those of you still using Legacy Titler to begin moving off the tool and start using the newer tools you can control in the Essential Graphics panel.

If you were not aware, any tool or effect named "Legacy" or "Obsolete" will probably be removed at some point in the future. In fact, that is why developers rename these tools. It's a warning. When this warning happens, you should begin to engage in new workflows, even though the newer tools may not have every single feature the previous tool did.

If you simply cannot move off the Legacy Titler, and do not want it removed, or find it has a feature you simply can't work without, you can let the team know. To do so, upvote this feature request.
