We need the ability to read the Timecode when recording audio LTC timecode to the file. Currently I have to use davinci Resolve to read the code. AVID already has this capability.

@Drumvisio The change in status means we are actively working on adding LTC support. I don't have a date for release but we're on our way!

within multicamera you can use Audio Timecode to sync, it would be great if you can also use that Audio timecode to read and than change it to this timecode. Often used for e.g. recording with non TC cameras or devices, and sometimes you do not want multicamera, but maybe just that single clip

This is badly needed. Also having the ability to match the audio track timecode to actual Timecode from other cameras and audio recorders is a must.

So being able to match LTC and audio track LTC.

Ideal for mixed camera multicam edits when not all cameras may have an input for timecode. This way we can just feed Timecode into an audio channel on the camera.

Avid can do this, premiere should be able to too.

It would be nice if Premiere Pro can read timecode from audio track, when using things like Tentacle Sync, which writes timecode to an audio track). Also batch synchronizitaion when you have many files (via audio or timecode) directly in bin, or on time line would be nice and will make preparation stuff much faster.

Having the timecode effect able to display the audio timecode might be useful. You know, for when you're turning over BITC files for sound post. It's a pretty standard thing in Avid.

The 2018.1.2 timecode window is a big improvement but...

Currently, if timecode window is set to Master, V1, A1, A2 then these display correctly for the timeline.

If the source window is selected, and a clip loaded, then the 'Master' column shows the timecode of the source clip. This is incorrect and really it should show in the V, A1, A2 displays (if all tracks are present).

If a sequence is loaded into the source monitor then the 'Master' column shows the timecode of that sequence. This is correct. But it does not display the V A1 A2 timecodes for that source sequence.

Add the feature of calculate timecodes please.
So you can add or subtract a specific Time from the Timecode which is is shown in the timecode panel.
In that way you can jump precisely to a time stamp in a clip or timeline.

Avid has 5 Auxiliary timecode fields that allow alternative timecodes to be stored

These are useful to hold references (eg to time of day or sound timecode) that may be different from the video file timecode

Premiere Pro already provides audio synching and timecode in the multicam synching panel, but it does not provide support for embedded timecode tied to the audio channel such as what you find in Tentacle Sync. https://tentaclesync.com/

Please allow us to sync clips using tentacle sync timecode.

In the effects section it is not possible to choose 23,976 fps with the option generate timecode. Is it a bug or a feature? 🙂

It's true. It's odd that I can burn-in video track TC but not the audio TC. This makes it very difficult to do proper turn-overs for the sound department. Burning in the audio timecode is a standard need, especially in professional environments where audio is recorded as dual system almost always.

Currently, to get the source clip to display timecode in absolute timecode, you have to visit Preferences, change it, then change back when you're done. Please add the ability to (for example) right-click on the timecode display and enable switching between source and absolute timecode, with some icon displaying which is currently being displayed.

I have added the Time code to the Original GoPro Footages and selected the time from the media, so the time displayed is correct

Gopro Footages are shot at 60 fps

I trancoded the Original GoPro footages to a mov container and added the mov footages to the the time line and then added the timecode but there was a mismatch of time

Also made sure that the frames are rendered as per the Original footage fps

There must be a bug

If I use multicamera sequences the timecode displays the clip timing from the multicam sequence, not the source timecode from the camera. This is a very basic tool an assistant should be able to use to create screener of assemblies of selects, for example. There are workarounds, but this should be a one-click task.
