Hello everyone,
I'm getting ready to publish and am assigning MapIDs. In one of my projects, all of the MapIDs from the master project have been copied in to the project BSSCDefault. None of the actual pages in the project are assigned to MapIDs. To remove the extraneous MapIDs, I'd like to delete the BsscDefault file from the project. If I delete this file, will RoboHelp automatically recreate it?
For context, I'm in Robohelp 2015.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi there
I'm a bit confused by your post. First you say you are assigning MapIDs. That would seem to suggest you are planning on creating CSH. But you then say that all the MapIDs have been copied to the BSSCDefault. And then that none of the actual pages in the project are assigned to MapIDs.
My thought is that if none of the pages are assigned to MapIDs, why do you care if the BSSCDefault exists? Are you seeing some point where it causes things to go wonky on you?
Cheers... Rick

Hi Rick,
Thanks for your help. Yes, I was concerned that deleting the old BSSCDefault would make things go wonky, particularly if Robohelp wouldn't recreate the file automatically.
(I'd have to check with my boss about whether or not we're creating a CSH.)
