RH 2017 - Context sensitive help works with Chrome doesn't work with IE

Hello,

I am facing the following issue.

We have a software, which has Web Help generated by using RH 2017 integrated. The help launches and works perfectly in both IE and Chrome.

However, context sensitive help works as expected only in Chrome and not in IE.

In Chrome

If I go to view A, and launch the help...the help topic for view A shows up correctly.

If I go to view B, and launch the help...the help topic for view B shows up correctly.

If I go to view C, and launch the help...the help topic for view C shows up correctly.

and so on...

In IE

If I go to view A, and launch the help...the welcome page of help shows up.

If I go to view B, and launch the help...the welcome page of help shows up.

If I go to view C, and launch the help...the welcome page of help shows up.

and so on...

When I check the URL in the browser and the token call that displays in the topic that gets launched, I noticed that it is same.

However, in Chrome the corresponding help topic as per the token is seen. In IE even if the token is correct, it shows up the welcome page.

Has anyone faced this issues? Any tips for troubleshooting it?

Hi Amit,

My RH version is 2017 and build 13.0.0.257. Not sure if this is the latest.

However, would that make a difference? Just out of curiosity. The generated output works perfectly fine in the local folder

Hi Tejas,

there were few fixes around CSH in latest update. Can you try updating to latest version and share your findings.
