We have many in the product and currently handled in a normal help section. However, this tends to get buried in the help. Is there any cool tip or feature in RH 2017 that allows us to present a big list of abbreviations?
Create a snippet with the list of abbreviations.
In a topic, create a dropdown and drag the snippet into the dropdown.

You could also look at the glossary feature. The abbreviation could be the term and the expanded version would be the definition.
You can't have formatting in the glossary definition, nor multiple paragraphs, but if you just want the expansion of the abbreviation, it could work.
