I am trying to upgrade a project that a former co-worker "owned". We use Visual Studio 2010 TFS Source Control for version control. Currently I've run into an error with upgrading because there are files locked by the other person. Okay, I get that and I've got someone on it. There are also several files with a status of "edit" by the other person, but not locked. Will RoboHelp 2015 upgrade the project with this status? I'm just wondering if I need to have all of those files fixed as well. (Most likely "Undo pending changes" because I don't think her files are available, which I guess doesn't really matter much because her updates then have been missing since last year and no one has complained. )
Aaaargh... and I really only need to add 3-5 words to one topic.
Thanks!
Kimberly
Best practices in this situation seems to be – check the entire project out of source control; upgrade it; check it back in.

Moved to the Source Control section.

Once I had someone unlock the locked files, I was able to check it all out and upgrade.
Thanks!
