Images not getting approved

Hello guys...

   Just need to share my concern with you all..   I sometime keep getting images that contain crowds of people that are tptally unrecongnizible to the simple eye for not having the Model release forms...

   My questiong is,,,  How do we manage to get a release form from literally , hundreds or even thousands of people we shoot at on the streets that are even so far away we can not even tell if it´s a boy or a girl???

One small thought (no inside knowledge): if the OCCASION is recognisable (for example, a particular festival), people may be able to identify THEMSELVES from even a small picture (from clothing, location etc.). So the people, the occasion and the location all need to be unrecognisable. A great many pictures that can legally be taken cannot be licensed.

Simple answer: you can’t. Either the picture moderator passes the picture or refuses the picture based on his perception. But generally such pictures are difficult to handke, not only because of the people but also because there are normally tons of logos in the picture.

Thank you for sharing you concern with us. The rule of thumb for deciding if you'll need model release is to ask yourself if the models(s) (people/person) will recognize him or herslelf eithr at normal size photo or when zoomed. If the answer is yes, then a model release is required. It does not matter whither or not the person's face is showing in the photo. A model release is not required if at zoom the person is still unrecognizable. In street photogrphy, people will be recognizable as described above.
