I've had some photos to the contributor site incorrectly rejected due to intellectual properties. Who do I contact to raise this issue with the reviewer team? Thanks

Thanks for your reply. As it's for Intellectual Property Refusal, I rather give the file IDs. Please note, there's no less than 4000 photos on Adobe for this location.

Hi @Trine5C1E ,

Contributors are not allowed to interact with reviewers, but we can asset in identifying issues. We are however not privy to your account, hence will not have access to your rejected files. If these are outright rejected files, then it would mean there are trade marks, logos or other similar issues. If they are in Reminder, then it means the owner is required to give signed permission for you to use his/her property.

Upload one of the files using the photo upload icon on the message text form. That is the eleventh icon from the left. It likely will not upload the original size of your photo. We however would need to see it large enough that we can zoom in to find the property if necessary.

Best wishes

This is a user-to-user forum, not Adobe.  If you want feedback from us, we can't guess what you submitted.  Please post the image here so we can see it.

Meanwhile, review these links for details on why images are rejected.

Intellectual property means you need to submit a signed release to use it commercially.  Some images are for "Editorial Use Only" for which Adobe Stock partners with trusted agencies and not individual contributors.

There is no appeal. Adobe does not budget for the extra time it takes. Please share photos with the non-Adobe helpers here.

Based on a quick Google check, the Brighton Pier appears to be privately owned by the Noble Group. You will need a property release signed by the owner to sell images of this privately owned pier.

Please review our legal guidelines for additional information.

Thanks for your reply, Matt. I would like to point out that there are 4000 photos of Brighton Pier, did all of these have a property release? It's one of the most widely photographed locations in Brighton for stock photography both on Adobe and other stock photography sites I contribute to, all in the creative category (not editorial content)

Perhaps they do all have releases. It's a normal part of submitting work of public places. Why wouldn't they all?

I believe the contributor wants to know for sure if it is really so that the terms associated with this photographed subject was amended. It would be beneficial to us all to know for sure this is so. We understand the right to accept or reject, but I do not think the team arbitrarily make such decision. I believe this is done solely on the basis of guideline received. The evedence on the platform is that Adobe do accept the subject. To say otherwise do require more than a guess reply, but that coming from an authentic source.
