Shooting in overcast conditions is not ideal.  It poses many challenges.

  • Your light source is not behind you, it's in front of you which is awkward.  The background is well lit but the foreground is not.
  • The white balance is off (too much yellow).
  • There's little to no color depth (vibrance).
  • There's not much wow factor here.
