1.jfif2.jfif3.jfif4.jfifHi! I´m the new one here.

I uploaded my photos of the roads and places of Iceland that are NOT the private property. I mean, normal roads (one of a thousands in Iceland), normal glaciars (one of  hundreds free to visit)...

I´ve read the rules and still don´t understand why they are rejected?

This rejection is nothing to do with Iceland, but these pictures have more than glaciers. They have people wearing products. One way to think about intellectual property in photos: suppose you made or sold a product. "If the product was in a photo, would you (the creator or seller) recognise it?" One way to think about people in photos."If you were the person in the photo, might you be able to identify yourself (from your face, clothes, situation, place,...)?" I assume you have model releases fo

Great pictures, but as Test_Screen_Name says, logos should not be visible. You can edit the logos out and submit again. The people are seen from the back, so I do not suspect them to be a problem.

For the dawn picture (first) I would expect at least some noise, the road picture (second) needs some colour correction (it's a little bit too blue), the waterfall could also get a slight colour correction, this one is slightly to yellowish. The last one is nearly perfect, except from a tiny bluish c

1. What are the EXACT reasons for rejection? Please quote, there are different reasons from visible trademarks, to watermarks on images, to images with too many existing photos already in the shop.

2. Please share one photo from each category; does not need to be high res.

If you could give us the rejection reason you where given and a link to the picture at a higher resolution, we would probably be able to point out some problems on the picture that leads to rejection.

Just as a general approach: You should not have any logos in the picture and all the persons on the picture need to sign a picture release. Sometimes you also need a property release, because some buildings a protected even if photographed from the public space...

No *identifiable* clothes without a release. I don't know what view Adobe would take on the coats. Surely though, the boots are identifiable. Be sure, if Adobe sold the picture, and someone used it to sell a product, the maker of the boots could recognise, and sue Adobe in some countries. Remember: the image you sell might be used by a maker of different boots, or coats...

Try disguising the boots in a very generic way and resubmit one. Or, since you have many photos of the same boots, get a property release for them.

You are allowed to use any tool you have at your disposal... 🙂

There is only one thing you should keep in mind: edit the picture in such a way that it does not apear to be edited.

Stock is about clean images. Sometimes people think they are not allowed to edit pictures or they edit pictures in excessive manners to "create a piece of art".

Stock images, however, are about craft not art. If you are a cabinet maker and you create a piece of furniture the piece may be well looking but it needs also be functional.

The pictures are to small for us to see. Look carefully. There may be somewhere very hidden a small piece of logo. Moderators are very good at spotting those... 🙂

Also: the colour may also be part of a brand. I'm not sure with clothes but sometimes a brand is recognized by colour or form (like the Coca Cola bottle).

And there is a minimal chance that a picture gets refused by error. But I would not bet my life on that as the moderators are quite good...

If there are no other artefacts, they will pass.

Is this real? Im new on this platform but... Adobe Stock kinda only allows you to upload their own general style of images? If you upload your own coloring,etc.. it won't be allowed? It's kind of a joke if it is real, maybe won't even continue to go on with this site.

It's up to you whether you try to become a contributor. It's not a gallery, as some people try to treat it. It's a commercial service, and they have their own idea of what they can sell. You will certainly need to read all the rules and guidelines in detail, especially those about intellectual property. This discussion was about intellectual property, not colours, but you are expected to submit standardised and realistic colours, without artistic effects, because buyers consider anything else a defect and mark down the site.
