Hello!

One of the photos I submitted was rejected because of some technical issues. Could someone point those out for me, please?

You also have a slight yellow cast in the picture, so you should try to reduce the yellow a bit. I think the white balance is the wrong setting. Sometimes using the 'shade' setting makes the photo too yellow. I would also crop out the green out of focus bit of the plant.

I agree with the following:

  • The picture is too dark.
  • A slight yellow cast is there, but do not correct too much.
  • cropping: crop out a little bit of the foreground green out of focus blur.
  • Lens flare: I don't see a lens flare.

All in all this is a nice picture.

Hi Elen,

Beautiful mushroom. The concerns I have are:

what appears to be lens flair at the base of the vegetation to the right of the frame.

You seem to have a depth of field issue. While the mushroom seem to be in focus, you have an area of blur in the forefront.

It is a bit underexposed, and the shadowy area is too dark.

Best wishes

This is what I saw at the base of the vegetation at the top right of the frame when I zoom.
